Sadegh Sadeghi-Tabas which is written صادق صادقی طبس in Persian, is a P.hD. student in Water Resources Engineering at Civil and Environmental Engineering department at Iran University of Science and Technology, working as a research assistant under supervision of Drs. Bagher Zahabiyoun and Vidya Samadi. Sadegh obtained his M.S. in Water Resources Engineering under advisory of Drs. Abolfazl Akbarpour and Mohsen Pourreza and He got his B.S. in two majors; Civil Engineering and Water Engineering at University of Birjand as an exceptional student.

He has conducted studies about Groundwater modeling using MATLAB interface (MODFLOW, MT3DMS, etc.), Uncertainty and Risk Assessment (Monte Carlo, Markov Chain-Monte Carlo, GLUE, DREAM), Runoff-Rainfall Modeling, Evolutionary Optimization Methods (Single- and Multi-Objective Methods), Data Driven Models (ANN, GP, GEP, SVM) and Deep Neural Networks (LSTM, RNN, GRU), Data Mining (Classification models, Clustering models, Data Reduction methods, etc.), Data Assimilation Models (Kalman Filter, Particle Filter, etc.) and Sustainable Development.
